Education: PhD. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Utah with advanced training and experience in neuropsychology.

Specialization: Neuropsychology uses knowledge about how the brain works to better understand a person’s emotions, thinking processes, and behavior. Dr. Provencal has years of training and experience researching and treating individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorders. She also specializes in working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries and neurological disorders.

Teaching Roles: Dr. Provencal is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Alpert Medical School at Brown University through the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. She also occasionally teaches General Psychology classes at Providence College.
